Outside of PE lessons, we are a very Active School!. We have two playground breaks every day and our ASF committee run our 'Active Yard' where different classes are allowed to use various pieces of yard equipment each day. A sample of our timetable is below. Every Friday we have 'Feel Good Friday' where we bring a speaker to the yard and play music, chosen by the children. At different times of the year we have themed active events such as Hallowe'en disco, Santa Dash in St. Anne's, Céilí Mór and Wellbeing Day.

We take part in all the recommended ASF initiatives such as 'Skip around Europe', 'Active Break Challenge' and 'Run around Ireland'. 6th class also takes part in Marathon Kids.

We have an Active Walkway (thanks to our caretaker Martin for putting it up!) and we use it at various times of the year using our challenge charts and clipboards.

Every class has movements breaks every day-we really like Go Noodle, Just Dance and Bizzy Breaks.
