Cycle Safety
5th Class were having a great time learning new cycling skills and the rules of the road earlier this year when they took place in a Cycle Safety course. They spent 5 weeks practicing their new skills in our school yard and then went out with the instructors and teachers on the roads.
Santry 2025
Congratulations to our fantastic students who took part in Santry this year!
Planting the Planter Boxes
Spring bulbs were planted yesterday in the plant boxes donated by Raheny Tidy Towns.
We planted Narcissus, Bluebells and White Muscari, which are good for pollinators. We also planted some heather, cyclamen and hellebore for some winter colour.
We learned cyclamen are perennial, which means they come back every year. Heather and hellebore are ever green plants so will stay green year round.
“We planted beautiful flowers and bulbs that will bloom in spring. It was so muchfun that we felt like great gardeners. We made the front of the school come to life”
“We had great fun planting lots of different and colourful flowers. We also planted some bulbs. We watered the plants and we gave them lots of soil. We are so excited to see them all bloom in spring.”
