Drámaíocht ‘Stair’ le High Rock Productions

Bhí maidin den scoth againn ar scoil inniu le tús Sheachtain na Gaeilge.

Bhí High Rock Productions linn agus chuir siad an dráma “Stair” i láthair dúinn. Bhain gach duine an-taitneamh as agus bhí sé thar a bheith suimiúil. Bhí neart craic againn sa halla.

World Book Day

On Thursday 5th of March we celebrated World Book Day with the theme “Curl Up with a Good Book”.

Some children chose to dress up as their favourite characters and some decided to wear in their comfy clothes.

Room 8 & Room 9 girls did Buddy Reading with the children in Scoil Íde.

Drumming Workshop

On the 5th of March we also had a wonderful visitor to our school doing a Drumming Workshop with us.

Here are some videos and photos from the workshop.

Tennis Tournament

Some of our senior girls competed in their first match in the Leinster Primary School League.

Well done girls, you all played brilliantly!

Rugby Tournament in Clontarf

6th Class and 4th Class had the opportunity to go to a Rugby Tournament with other schools. They had a fantastic day playing against the other teams. Well done girls!

Lots of Socks for Down Syndrome

We celebrated World Downs Syndrome Day with an assembly in the hall where a group of students from various classes came up and taught us some Lámh signs and also signed a song too!

Read more about Lámh here.

JEP

Our 6th class girls presented their Junior Entrepreneur Projects the our Dragons before Easter. It was a tough call - the projects and presentations were of such high standard this year!

The chosen projects will start production and selling their items after Easter.

Win for our Soccer Team!

Scoil Áine soccer squad had a successful outing against St Canices. Well done to all the girls - a great start to our league campaign.
